Help and support after the attack on the Magdeburg Christmas market
Dear university members,
We are still affected and shocked by the attack on the Magdeburg Christmas market. Many of our university members are directly or indirectly affected by the events and still suffer from physical and/or psychological impairments.
Normal reaction to an abnormal event! Basically, psychological reactions such as inner restlessness, sadness, anger, sleep disorders or recurring stressful thoughts are normal and human reactions in the first days and weeks after a traumatic experience. However, if these symptoms persist or do not improve, professional support can be crucial to better manage the situation and avoid possible complications. |
As a university, we stand together and want to offer you our support internally so that we can better cope with the terrible events. Various contact persons are available within the university for both students and employees.
